It’s a new year, and with that comes a new artist showcase from our friends at Wake Forest Guild of Artists!

Maureen is an artist located in Wake Forest. Maureen says of her pieces “When looking at my collage art from far away it looks like just a painting but on closer observation one would be able to pick out text from an old book page or a music note or two and maybe the corner of a map of some far away place.” “ I love watching these abstract papers turn into a very realistic piece of art.” You can see more of her work and learn more about Marueen on her website.
Richard is an artist residing in Raleigh and this is first piece at Hair Undone. Richard says of his art “Most of my time is spent photographing cars, landscapes, and nature. I then use these images to create my paintings and illustrations. I am intrigued with emulating shiny metal and reflective waters in my artwork.”

David is a self taught artist residing in Wake Forest, whose pieces primarily focus on portraits, wildlife, pets, landscapes, beach scenes and holiday themes. David has several prints available for sale at Hair Undone in addition to “PEACE”.
C. James Dussias is a visual artist, podcaster, art educator, and fishing guide residing in Wake Forest, NC.
